Copilot
Designing Microsoft's most important product.
Copilot isn't a feature -- it's the product Microsoft is betting its next decade on.
I worked across the full consumer Copilot experience: the core copilot.com web experience, the mobile app on iOS and Android, illustration and visual style definition, and motion experimentation that shaped how the product feels in motion. This wasn't a single project -- it was a sustained creative contribution to the product hundreds of millions of people interact with every day.
The visual language work was foundational. Defining the illustration style and motion direction meant setting the tone for how an AI assistant should feel -- approachable, intelligent, and distinctly not corporate. Microsoft introduced a more streamlined look and feel with a cleaner style for answers as part of its broader Copilot evolution, and the visual and motion design work fed directly into that direction across web and mobile surfaces.
The mobile experience brought its own set of constraints -- a product that needed to feel native, fast, and human on a small screen while carrying the full weight of the Copilot brand.
